Went to Bar Hygge in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia for breakfast/brunch and would definitely recommend it. The place has a really cool atmosphere- modern but still cozy, which fits the whole “hygge” concept they’re going for. For anyone who doesn’t know, “hygge” is a Danish term centered around comfort, warmth, and enjoying the moment, and the restaurant honestly captures that vibe really well. They brew beer on sight which I think is awesome, I was given a tour of the brewery. The food was amazing a bit expensive but you get what you paid for. The staff are super friendly and great to talk to.

I took my girlfriend here before a concert this past weekend and we had a wonderful time! The servers were wonderful. They were all so kind and friendly & everything came out very promptly. We also really liked that the bathrooms were fully stocked with hygiene products. We had the ricotta toast, the cheese curds, the Manchurian cauliflower, and a glass of the Adaptation rosé-inspired beer. Everything was excellent.
