I try to give places a fair, balanced look and The Trestle Inn definitely delivered in some areas. I stopped in before a show nearby and loved the modern, stylish vibe right away. The cocktail menu is creative without being pretentious. During happy hour, the bartender was knowledgeable, personable, and clearly confident in his craft. He made two excellent cocktails — well-balanced, thoughtfully prepared, and worth every dollar. Service was attentive and engaging, which set a great tone for the night. Wonderful place ... The place looked worn outside but when you enter it gives it a timeless retro feel ... the whiskey drinks are extremely good, I will have to be back to try the rest. Open dance floor with songs from the time to make you groove with the dancers there. This was a first time experience but it won't be a last time.

Old school comfort zone dive bar with great vinyl and dancing. Reminds me of my youth! All ages! We hit Prince night and danced away led by this great pro dancer. Shout out to the wonderful owner Ian for preserving something so special! If you like this sort of thing!!
