Our introduction into West African cuisine, and did not disappoint! I got the platter with chicken suyo, noodles, and spicy slaw. My husband got the beef suyo with rice and black-eyed peas. We also ordered a side of plantains, meat pies, and a pineapple ginger drink. We basically each tried everything, and while we had favorites (I favored the slaw, rice and beef, my husband the chicken, black eyed peas and noodles), everything was packed with flavor and it was really hard to stop eating when we were full! Ended up taking some home. Generous portions! Our server was awesome and extremely helpf

Amazing food! Highly recommend. Everything was super flavorful. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good, honestly. I’d definitely go back to try more items. Warm, welcoming atmosphere with comfortable, clean seating. Definitely 5/5 in my opinion.

Fresh, delicious and plentiful. This tiny Ghanaian restaurant checks all the buttons. If you are looking for fried plantains there is nowhere better. The jollof rice bowls and amazing made in house Solobo are absolutely out of this world. If you don't know what those are, hurry hurry to this bright friendly west African restaurant (just a block from Powell's). Best dining experience in years and the guys there are the kindest folks you'll meet.
