I went in on Friday to order the $2.99 combo micro meal. The employee (older Mexican man) told me, “No 3-dollar meal, you have to go to McDonalds.” I let him know I saw it online and described that it comes with a burrito and fries, and he then said “Oh no, that starts next week, you have to come next week” When I mentioned that Google showed it available since Wednesday, he turned to his female coworker and they started talking in Spanish, assuming I didn’t understand lol. The staff said this could only be bought in the morning. I went in the afternoon, and they refused to sell it to me, which left me quite confused. I believe the breakfast burrito shouldn’t be limited to the morning, because it’s also available on their regular menu and can be ordered anytime.

I've been to many, many Del Tacos. It's one of my favorite fast food chains. Never had an overtly negative experience until tonight. First off, they got my order wrong. Not a huge deal, decided to eat it anyway. When I unwrapped my burrito it was the SMALLEST burrito I've ever gotten from Del Taco and it was very sloppily wrapped. I was disappointed to say the least but, again, figured I might as well eat it. For whatever reason, the rice in it was as hard as rocks. It felt like chewing pebbles. Some were sharp, too. I was baffled, but thought I could open the burrito up and remove the rice.

The fries were super cold and nasty I wanted to say something to the person at the register but she opened the window really fast the closed it and wouldn't look in my direction as I tried to politely get her attention... In there defense I could have hooked the horn but I didn't wanna be extra or over the top.
