Best hotdogs ever!!! My mom made a huge takeout order for my birthday this past Tuesday and we have nothing but amazing things to say about this place!! The workers were so kind, assisting my mom with the best way to order all the food and making great recommendations since this was our first time. When I tell you we got A LOT of food and everything tasted so fresh and good! I finally got to go here and I happened to be coming off a strict diet so I couldn't over do it like I would have wanted to. I was able to cut some of the carbs and still really enjoy the food. Had to have a hot dog, the relish and the mustard yum 😋 I had a bowl of chili, I could have had another 😋 The server was very attentive and the food came out fast. Having grown up 10 minutes from Rutt’s, it brings back high school and college memories! I’m back home visiting my mom so of course I had to stop in. Same hot dogs, same building and probably the same cooking oil from years ago. Best hot dogs in the area! Don’t forget the relish, it’s what makes them great.

Hotdog Hell is a 2.5 hour Ride through Jerseys Newark/Manhattan traffic, to check out the #1 Hot Dog in America. 🏆 I was enticed to Rutt's Hut for their unusual process of deep frying, causin the casings to crack and split, and the secret recipe relish. It's indeed quite different but the 'famous' relish was kinda bland IMO and the hot dogs while nicely carmelized, were not very juicy. I'm glad becaue I wouldn't want to be enticed to repeat that Ride. If I didn't have to come from Pennsylvania I would definitely go more often.
