Ordered the Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass and loved it. The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked perfectly. The whipped potatoes were excellent, and the spinach with toasted almonds was a pleasant surprise. You can tell a lot of care went into every part of the dish. Compliments to the chef. Had a really solid meal at Nick’s San Clemente. I went with the Prime Rib Dip and that was easily the star of the night — super tender, melt-in-your-mouth prime rib on a soft brioche bun, with a red wine au jus and a nice kick from the horseradish cream. The fries on the side were just okay, but honestly felt like an afterthought next to the sandwich. This was our first time here and it was an absolute amazing experience! The food was so good. Had the roasted artichoke and asparagus fries appetizer. Then the prime rib dip sandwich. Delicious. My wife had the spicy Thai salad which was alao incredible. Their butter cake was sooo good as well!Our server (Mylea) was so good! Nick’s continues to set the bar in Southern California. I’ve been to the Manhattan Beach and Laguna Beach locations, and the San Clemente outpost holds the same high standard across the board.
