Came here for lunch with coworkers. We all ordered the salad bar (the company’s decision). The salad bar was honestly very satisfying to look at and seemed to have a lot of options beyond just salad. There were soups along with charcuterie items. The service was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere but I didn’t think the food was anything to write home about. I would like to give it another try and order from the menu.

My first visit to Fogo de Chão absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, everything exceeded expectations—the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. Fogo de Chão in downtown Seattle was a solid night out, though pretty standard compared to other Fogo locations I’ve been to in the metro area and across the country. The staff were nice, and servers came around frequently, which I appreciated. The restaurant did feel a bit smaller than other Fogo de Chão locations I’ve visited, and the overall quality was alright. One thing I noticed was that at other locations, they usually ask how you like your meat cooked and will cut from the medium rare or more medium section of the skewer depending on your preference. Fogo de Chão on a Monday night is apparently the “diet” version of Brazilian steakhouse roulette, where not every premium cut is making its majestic laps around the dining room because, well, apparently demand matters. Tragic. That said, we still had a genuinely great dinner, and the MVP was absolutely Rigo. The man understood the assignment. Attentive without hovering, personable without auditioning for improv, and clearly determined that we were leaving happy, which we did.
