Met up with our friend for our monthly dinner. I am so happy we chose this place. The food was so delicious. I had the Quesaburro, my wife had the Taco Dorado with potato, our son had the Birria Ramen, and our friend had 4 different tacos. We were all very satisfied. The service was wonderful, food came out pretty quickly and our server Madelyn (hope I spelled it correctly) was superb, she was sweet, knowledgeable, positive and just all around spectacular. First time here and I was very happy. 12 beers on tap(local and Mexican staples) had your typical taco, burrito, etc with a a lot of new age treat options like Mexicali wings, protein bowl and Quesabirria. I would come back for the Quesabirria taco alone. It was perfect. Flavor, tender…perfection. The fish taco was better than most but not as good as some others. Tacos 805 Visiting Simi Valley, CA i tried out Tacos 805 today and was very impressed. My guest and I had the Toco Carnitas MexiCali style and the Chips & Salsa with Guacamole. The tables come with some house hot sauces which were great! Everything appears to be made in-house including the tortillas. I also sampled one of their Specialty Tacos, the Pork Belly. Very tasty. Tacos 805 is a fairly new local Mexican restaurant in the Simi Valley area. The spot has gained a pretty good following due to their flavorful food and excellent service. They have a style that is very similar to the California style of Mexican cuisine. Plus, they added some shocking but fantastic variations to some local classics, such as birria pizza and their flavored wings. The food is flavorful. The food is complex. The staff is wonderful.
