True to it's name: Charming, cozy, local hometown vibes, and a café of course 😉 Easter ham special looked amazing with a carrot cake at the end, but I'm a first timer and had chicken and waffles on my mind... so I caved and kept with that and it did not disappoint. The chicken is fried perfectly with crunchy breading that sticks and an insanely juicy interior. The seasoning was well balanced and oil not too greasy. All items on the menu served all day. I was there on a Tuesday morning. Coffee was a good brew. I ordered the Giddy Up burger (it had an egg on it so I’ll call that breakfast) The burger had a tasty bun , not the normal generic bread. I ordered the side salad instead of fries and I am so glad I did because I experienced their HOMEMADE croutons. What a treat. Texture and seasoning was perfect! They have homemade baked goods and I am really having a tough time deciding which one I want! This was a great little restaurant and I will be back. Food was good. A little bland. But pancakes were yummy, the bacon and bleu burger was a little overpowering but still super good! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, but when busy it can get a little cramped. Staff was very friendly and very welcoming.
