Ordered the Creamy Broth Udon Tonkotsu Style. This has creamy chicken broth topped with pork chashu and a seasoned egg. This is a great option for cold weather meals to warm you up. The broth is indeed rich and creamy with a lot of good umami flavor and the pork chashu is soft and melts in your mouth. The udon noodles had a nice bounce to them, satisfying and filling. They offer a lot of other add-ons for a few extra dollars if you have a big appetite like gyoza, cutlets, tempura shrimp, croquettes, and sausages. As someone from suburban California, it was a nice surprise to find this Japanese franchise restaurant offers authentic food at affordable prices. I had cold udon with tempuras. Udon was okay, I liked tempuras very much. Staff was also friendly and nice.

So glad there is a marugame udon in Seattle! Glad to see new flavors. All very good. The friend potato tempura has always been consistently very good. No wait time you get your hot hand made udon noodles within minutes. Fresh and tasty.

Always a plus when we're able to go to Marugame Udon. This location has a little different menu than the location in Honalulu but that being said a lot of the same menu items and add-ons. It's in really good location with tons of free parking and convenient to get to. Udon opens at 11am and we got there early, thankfully because the line got long shortly after. Udon serves great food fast. Wish I lived closer. Service is always great and staff helpful and friendly. Can't get better food for a better price. Decorated more hip style than the Honalulu location but it was nice.
