Visited this location as a last meal before heading off to college. The service was excellent, all of the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. As a party of 9, we made a reservation, but the restaurant was pretty sparse, and quiet, so conversation amongst the table was easy. We got a fabulous seat at the window, with a full view of the Marina. The food service felt more like a premium meal, with bread being offered in the beginning, and because we ordered appetizers, those being served as a first course along with drinks. Celebrated mom in law's birthday, and the service was impecable. Appetizers, Red Velvet Cake and Port wine were amazing. However, I expected my carbonara to be made with egg yolks instead of heavy cream. Nevertheless, a beautiful experience.

Service was pretty good. The hostess at the front was overly nice. I cant explain it. It didnt feel authentic at all or perhaps that is how she is, but it was quite different. Our server was nice. Made good suggestions. I ordered the scallops and my mother had the Mahi Mahi. I forgot to take pictures of our entrées. I did not like the clam chowder. My mother ate hers and said it was "ok" The breading from the calamari kept falling off. I would have preferred that it was fried harder because the squid just felt uncooked in my mouth. They have a wonderful location with a lively bar area and wonderful views of the water ways and Mare Island. The food is always dependable, but not spectacular. But with that said I have been here many times and will go again. The service is always great. They’ve got a wonderful group of folks working there. It’s a great spot to dine at before or after getting your wine fix at Vino Godfather on Mare Island.
