Gateway Diner We like to try diners when we travel, so before heading home to NYC on the train, we stopped for breakfast, which was the perfect choice. I got my favorite, a broccoli, egg, and cheese omelette, and the breakfast potatoes were well seasoned. My wife got the biscuit and gravy, and she appreciated that it came on the side alongside her eggs and potatoes. A friend and I stopped for breakfast. I had two eggs well, Canadian bacon, white toast and home fries. The portions were perfect, potatoes seasoned just right, not overly salty and cubed not mush like other places I go. Food was not greasy! Flavorful. Love the old diner atmosphere. Server was a gentleman I believe his name was Tom, very nice, not overly sweet which I’m not a fan of!!! He came over and asked how we were, quite efficient. Food was nice and hot. Price very fair and reasonable. Perfect visit and fun.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and I’ve noticed a change in Managment. There has been some micro aggression racism with some of the new workers. Assuming and accusing my child is over the child’s menu rather than asking and trying to charge extra. Ever since the gentlemen with the pony tail and glasses with red hair started working it’s felt off and very micro aggression.
