I spent my day running errands and while doing my last chore of the day laundry... i decided to google food near me and stumbled on this gem. im not familiar with the local area and this was an awesome google find. it nade me glad i saved my appetite. i ordered a meatball parm with xtra mozzarel and an order of mozz sticks. when i say this is the freshest authentic italian food i have tasted in years, i am not lying by far. the mozz sticks are def made fresh in house have a bit of crunch and the marinara sauce was amazing... i felt like grandma was back there somewhere whipping it up. Pizza, well cooked, slice stands up with one hand hold, crust on the thin side, tasty sauce spiced right, correct amount of cheese and a crunchy crust! That's as far as I go on this review till we come back, eat in and try an entree! Atmosphere looks go with a nice dining room. The pizza takeout was busy with only one employee, taking orders, working the oven, serving, and operating the register. AND last but not least Cafe Gio charges extra for credit cards... Why? The pizza was very good, maybe it was all with it? Lmk?

Wow, from food to service😋😍. The owner and chef Salvatore and his team are just so welcoming. Thank you, Jill and Lucas for being excellent and making our Luncheon perfect. You both were extremely attentive and accommodating with our special requests. The food was delicious. I had the stuffed flounder with linguini and the stuffing was a delicious shrimp and bread stuffing so so good👍😋 Some had the Chicken Parmigiano and others the Chicken Francese and all was loved. But what stood out was the delicious addictive house dressing on the salad. Yeah, I took a garlic knot to sop it up it was.

Went on Palm Sunday....busy lil dinner crowd. Only 2 people on for wait staff but they held their own and everything was served timely. Food was fresh and delicious! Love their front-end pizza counter too, a variety to choose from. A lovely little gem right off Sunrise Highway in Babylon area.
