DGM★★★★★We had a wonderful first experience at River 128. Friendly service, delicious food, all with a gorgeous view of the river (if you choose to sit outside). Make reservations for 7:30 and you’ll catch the sunset on the river. The Salmon was a 10/10. My husband enjoyed the scallops but if you like flavor bombs I’d suggest choosing something else. We took of the peep of the lunch menu, we’ll be back to try the fried green tomatoes BLT!

The atmosphere is wonderful here eating right next to the water. The service we got was super slow, but our waitress was sweet and helpful. The food was hit or miss. I loved the duck entree I got, but the accompanying sides were gross!! Bread for the table was ok, but my friends loved the burger and lobster ravioli. I would go again but maybe just for drinks and bar food.

Wish I had gone a different way. Then for the meal I went with the fish tacos per recommendation from the server. They were good. The best was the cucumber spritz. So delish! Topped it off with some chocolate cake which was very good as well!

You have many options of seafood to choose from, and their crab dip is an excellent choice, as well as the Brie appetizer, served warmed with toasted garlic and softened cranberries. Everyone at the table was praising the combination of flavors. Service was exceptional. We chose to sit inside at a booth since it was cold outside; if you want to dine by the waterfront after sunset, come prepared with layers because even with patio heaters you’ll feel the chill.
