The staff were really unclear - we went there in the evening to get sukiyaki but got told that there wasn’t any, and we could only order sushi. We were in a rush so we just decided to go with it, and the sushi was painfully average. You can’t taste the individual elements of the sushi. There was an excessive amount of mayo added, the katsu was cold and I could taste the oil it was fried in, the sushi tasted old, the gyoza was super greasy but unflavourful, the charwanmushi also didn’t have much flavour other than the taste of the wooden spoon. Had an amazing experience at Tetsujin BBQ & Sushi Train during their Nagasaki Wagyu event. The 3 course menu was exceptional highlights included the A5 Nagasaki Wagyu Yukke, aburi nigiri, and the homemade wagyu croquette. Watching the live butcher cutting show added a unique and memorable touch to the evening. The BBQ tasting set featured beautifully marbled A5 Nagasaki Wagyu alongside premium Australian MB9+ wagyu, all grilled perfectly. The wagyu truffle rice was rich and aromatic, and the yuzu sorbet was a refreshing finish. Great atmosphere, high quality ingredients, and a well curated

If 'Wagyu' now means 'vaguely meat-colored,' then they nailed it. In reality, I’ve had $4 grocery store sushi with more life in it than this. The service is 'mid' at best. I asked the staff what was inside the rolls, and I’m pretty sure they were as curious as I was, bec

Good mix of more traditional style i.e sushi with minimal sauce/toppings, and sushi with alot of mayo based and thicker sauces. For me less is better so all have option to order without mayo etc. Limited sushi but made up for with Wagyu options , like bbq or stone beef bibimba (yum). Good style, vibe and clean restaurant Update. Went back for Japanese bbq . Like a completely different restaurant (hadn't noticed before with a different entrance. More sophisticated vibe. Good bbq that sits between the top tier places (as in premium cost and quality) and the mid tier (good quality price and b
