The baristas are always a delight and the coffee is always consistent! My husband and I have been searching for a mocha not made with super sugary chocolate syrup- this second cup gets it perfectly right! The carrot walnut loaf is amazing too

Haven’t been to Second Cup in a while, decided to stop in since it was on my way to work and I was truly disappointed by this location. The barista seemed bored and a bit annoyed that I was there, and rolled his eyes when pressing the ‘no tip’ option on the machine before I could react, with zero explanation on why I wouldn’t be allowed to tip. I got a matcha and asked if it was on the sweeter side and he responded “not really” then walked off to make it. The matcha itself was milky and did not taste good. Don’t really feel like coming back, surprised by all the other good reviews.

I have had a very inconsistent experience with both food and beverages here as a longtime customer. Most of the staff are nice, but some are quite indifferent and even unwelcoming. The bathrooms leave something to be desired. A recent experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and it wasn't the coffee. Definitely not worth 1 star, but Metcalfe and Slater is far better.

most horrible matcha, the powder was barely whisked, little to no ice in the drink as you can see in the first picture. The texture itself is weird, this is not a big deal but please train your employees well and stop giving out mediocre drinks.
