Eldar★★★★★This, a quitebigger pub is welcoming you with an inviting and warm atmosphere. The decoration is absolutely unique. It attracts a mixed crowd, predominantly older but with some younger faces too. With plenty of screens, it's a great spot to catch a game and chat with friends. Parking is a breeze, right across the road at the village castle car park. And the pints and beers? Top-notch. The staff is friendly. Will definitely be back.
V for victory★★★Service is great, prompt & friendly. I got fish & chips. long skinny fish in a light batter . Chips are cut like celery & not to my liking. My partner got the roast beef ( fatty ) Good portion of beef , potatoes & vegetables.

It was all cooked to perfection and reasonably priced for such good portions. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were there a little after 2pm on a Monday so it was very quiet.

Football on the tvs also, so no complaints 😉 2nd visit and once more no complaints, the staff were very nice and the food was lovely. Always a good atmosphere. 3rd visit. Another lovely family meal yesterday, again the food was lovely and the staff were very nice and helpful. There was a nice ballad session starting at 8 pm, which was great to hear. Thanks
