During a recent particularly rainy day we stopped off and spent most of the afternoon here (making full use of the 3 hour maximum stay). The staff were really friendly and helpful when talking us through the rules of the games we selected and speaking of game selection - you are absolutely spoilt for choice! The atmosphere was very chill and the food & drinks were really well priced. The general cost is very well priced too and makes me wish we had more places like this in our local area!

Since Thirsty Meeples opened a few years ago, we’ve been regulars ever since. Whether dates, family gatherings, fun with friends and even celebrating birthdays, we’ve always had a great time here. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with a great selection of games to play for whatever size party or kind of game you want to play. Great place for board games and drinks! We initially went in just to have a look, but we loved the place. The staff was very attentive, and they have a great selection of games at fair prices. As for the drinks, the service wasn’t super fast, but it was worth the wait. I ordered a hot orange chocolate with whipped cream, and it was perfect. Highly recommended!
