James Caunt★★★★★Visited on a Saturday evening for a special birthday celebration. 6 course tasting menu. The food was absolutely amazing. Each of us had a different favourite dish but all of us agreed the meal as a whole was one of the best we have had. The service was lovely. Not stuffy, just friendly and professional. Slowing the delivery slightly when we requested it to allow a little more chatting in between courses. The chefs definitely specialise in amazing fish dishes, with some real cooking skill and flair. The 2 desserts were incredible. Occasions like this are not cheap obviously and there can alway

The choco tart was nice even though I waited for 25 mins. If coffee was served at the same time as we asked, that would be better.

Not sure about £4 a bottle for still water… coffee became confusing as we couldn’t get a latte, so had tea, with milk…. Beef was replaced with Lamb on the tasting menu (it was lovely though). The lighting and toilets would have benefited from an update.
