I went there with modest expectations, of value chain restaurant "meh". But I was wrong, as it was a genuinely fantastic meal, and one of the best (and best value) steak dinners I've had in this country (excluding 5 star restaurants only!). Service was a bit slow, but then it was a Saturday night, so can't really hold that against them. Will definitely be going back there again.

I came here twice a week. Top notch service from daytime and evening team. Best roast potatoes in town. Brussel sprouts are al Dante as I like it. Parsnips were a bit charred first turkey lunch. It was perfect on Sunday roast beef. Roast beef slice a bit tendon too much. Shame they don’t have half lobster tail on Sunday. So, I got garlic prawns instead. Apple and blackberry crumble was gorgeous! So does the liver brandy pate.
