Called in about 7pm on a Tuesday. Place was busy but nice atmosphere and is obviously a popular spot. Although there wasn't a table available we were asked to order a drink at the bar and a table would be free shortly. Friendly service at bar, duly ordered drinks and then shown to table by our server, Marlee. Again lovely friendly service, we ordered a mushroom pie and haggis which arrived quickly and were both very tasty. We had a very enjoyable time and would dine again.

Great atmosphere at the Conan Doyle Pub, full of character and history. Cozy interior, friendly staff, and a nice selection of drinks. The food was also excellent - especially the haggis, definitely worth trying. A perfect spot to relax after exploring the city.

One of my favourite pubs in Edinburgh. Cozy and chilled on weekdays, with a really relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours here. The food is also good, better than you’d expect from a typical pub. Always a solid choice.

Great spot for lunch! Food- The Gnocchi was delicious, though the chicken was very dry, and chewy. The garlic bread was very bland and flavorless, but tasted great dipped in the gravy from my boyfriend’s food. I also ordered the halloumi fries, and they were the best I have found in Scotland thus far. Made a pregnant girl very happy. My boyfriend ordered the sausage and mash, and said he rates it a 9.5 which is a compliment coming from him. Though as an American I was not a fan of it. Service- We got here right at opening, so the service was fast, can’t speak for busy hours. The employees
