K Woodacre★★★★★Went for a meal with my husband, father in law and 1 yr old son. Lucy served us and was brilliant, nothing was an issue. My son was very restless and she very easily came up with an addition to the menu to accommodate him. The food was also really good. I had the Cumberland sausage which was lovely, my husband had the lamb burger which was also lovely. Definitely a great pub that I hope to return to when I come back to Kendal. Xxx

We had the Sunday lunch and my wife had the vegetarian option. The food was absolutely lovely and had so much choice on the plate. Managed to save a bit of room for the dessert, we shared the mixed berry crumble and was lovely too. The service was efficient and the staff were polite and on the ball. Would definitely recommend!

The best part of the experience was the staff at the Golden Fleece Inn — especially Lucy and the team. They made us feel so welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and the whole atmosphere was warm, friendly, and genuinely homely. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Kendal. We’ll definitely be returning!
