Revisiting my review for this Nando’s and adding some photographs as well. I’ve come here so many times over the years with friends and family. We typically come for an evening meal, but sometimes it’s a lunchtime job. Much quieter during lunch hours and quicker service. A 20-25 min wait for a table is not uncommon in the evenings, but not surprising! Sometimes there are issues with the menu, I get the same spice/chicken/side every meal so it can cause a problem when something isn’t in stock! 8 times out of 10, everything is fine. O first entering we was created and sat down. Generally the restaurant was nice looked clean, Unfortunately this was not the case for the male toilets which had obviously not been scrubbed clean for some time especially the tiles. Food was cooked fast and very nice. Unfortunately the toilets let the whole experience down.

Good food, standard for Nando’s. The service however was appalling. It wasn’t busy, but they had many staff working but we were ignored for ages. We ordered our food (including desserts) through the QR code, food came out fast, but when we had finished, the staff were hanging around in the corner of the restaurant chatting and laughing, it took them about 40 minutes to finally clear out table. We waited patiently for our desserts to arrive, but 15 mins later, my partner had to go and ask them where they were, the staff again in the corner of the restaurant ignoring customers. I’ve eaten here several times before and it’s always been good, but this visit was only average. The chicken in my wrap was quite poor — it had clearly been sitting too long as it was extremely squishy. The chips were also overcooked, as if they’d been put back in the oil to reheat after sitting. There was also an error with the order, which was rectified, but the two staff members I dealt with didn’t seem like they wanted to be there at all.
