The cake and fries were very nice, and the service was very fast. The Milkshake had un-advertised ice in it, which can ruin the experience. Also it was very loud inside, and whilst it can look cozy from the outside, it doesn't feel like a place you can have a relaxing drink in, or take your time with. Also there's not a great deal of choice in simple soft drinks. But the cakes more than make up for that.

Wow. What a let down. Food was a massive disappointment. Had a smashed avocado and halloumi sandwich.... hardly any avocado and dry bread. Charged over £10 for the pleasure. Previous visits to other Bob and Berts elsewhere have been OK, but avoid Lancaster branch

Excellent experience. Very friendly and informative staff. Helped with seating and explained everything about what was on the menu. Ordered a couple of Bert's Burger meals, loaded fries, and a range of hot and cold drinks. Really tasty meals. Food arrived promptly, hot and well presented with a smile. Relaxed atmosphere, great place .Will definitely be back again in the future 😋

What a find! A proper old-fashioned British cafe selling mountains of scrummy tuck and delicious coffees. I had the veggie breakfast which was immense. Staff were hard working and cheerful. The place has a welcoming atmosphere, bright, clean and with plenty of tables and booths. Menu has something for everyone and the place was busy with both younguns and oldsters like me. For anyone who feels a little disappointed by a £4 almond croissant and wants something more filling and dipped in lashings of HP Sauce.
