Huaqi Ma★★★★★Serves a very satisfying full English for breakfast, accompanied by a great soundtrack. It was so good, I have no photos to post. The only witness was Siouxsie Sioux. This cafe is run by great people. Warm and welcoming, it would do a first time visitor to Liverpool no harm at all to drop by for a bite! I am sure they serve some great drinks and cocktails as well.

Alison M★★★★★Popped in on a weekday morning as I’d heard there was a display of photos of Pete Burns. I really liked the interior & the general vibe. The decor is full of Scouse icons from the 60s onwards & this would be an interesting spot for a drink if you’re just visiting the city. Coffee was good & the staff helpful & friendly (I saw other customers greeted by name while I was there). There’s a small room at the back available for private hire which would be great for 10-20 people
