Pepe Grill served one of the worst meals I’ve had in years. The burgers were so overcooked and dry they were practically inedible, and the grilled chicken had zero flavour, even though I asked for mango and lime. It’s like they didn’t even try. I paid £50 for food that genuinely tasted like an afterthought. I walked out feeling completely ripped off. Even the drink was a disaster — no fizz, and the flimsy straw collapsed before I even finished, and I’m not exactly a slow drinker. This place is an absolute joke for the price they charge. Staff behaviour was very rude and unprofessional. I ordered chicken and rice meal with large piri piri fries, chicken was burnt. I asked the staff to put some extra masala on fries and he was very rude and when i opened pack of fries, he put very little amount of masala. I would never suggest this restaurant. 27/10/2025

This has happened repeatedly and it’s unacceptable. I order from Pepe’s almost every week and always request peri peri salt on my chips. Despite paying extra and clearly reminding the staff each time, the chips arrive with barely any seasoning.This isn’t a one-time mistake, it’s a consistent issue. Charging customers for peri peri salt and then adding the smallest possible amount feels misleading. If you’re going to charge extra, at least provide what customers are paying for.Regular customers deserve consistency and basic attention to simple requests. We ordered 2 Chicken n Rice Box (which the receipt clearly mention in the photograph), but was delivered only one box. We rang them to complain was told to wait another 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, received the missing (same) box which was cold and unappealing. This is 4th time in a row in delivery order’s messed up.
