Service lacking, Would have been nice for anyone to check in on how the food was. You walk in and there is no indication of sitting, how to order or anything. had to ask at the bar and felt like we were disturbing the person.

First visit to the Brenchley and we were impressed. Popped in for lunch and the whole experience was lovely. Quite pricey for drinks as a pint of Fosters & a white wine spritzer was £12.00. £4.50 cheaper across the road in Tim's Muggleton inn. Brenchleys had a good selection on the food menu. I had Hunters chicken for £12. Very nice but could have been a little hotter. My wife had steak pie £12.60 which again could have been hotter . Lovely venue with impressive decor. Could happily have sat there all day. Apart from the music it was fairly quiet & it appealed more to the older generation. It

We went into The Brenchley on a cold and wet Friday afternoon. from the outside the pub looks impressive, but walking through the door gave us a real wow-factor. Beautifully ornate and well furnished, the pub is massive with a huge bar at the far end. Drinks were reasonably priced and the service was quick and efficient. Despite it being quiet, there was still a buzzy atmosphere inside and I can imagine in the evening the place must be really busy and popular.
