What a wonderful evening we had at Rockfish Weymouth! The staff were all amazing, friendly and knowledgeable as well as super kind complimenting me on my dress! The food was absolutely superb! We had the battered Haddock with unlimited fries and the grilled Salmon with new potatoes and both dishes were the best fish we've ever had!! Utterly delightful!! Fresh, cooked perfectly, great portions, could not fault it! I absolutely would also recommend the Picpoul, absolutely beautiful wine! Would recommend and will absolutely be back!

We started with 1/2 pint prawns. Spider crab croquettes. Prawns were tiny. Sauce very nice. Croquettes were tasteless apart from cheese sauce. Couldn’t taste any crab at all. Then had main of lobster with chips and megrim fish and chips. I have had plenty of lobster over the years but this one rated bottom of them all. There was no taste whatsoever apart from garlic. It was very very tough the chips were rock hard and cut the roof of my mouth. The megrim fish was okay. Not much flavour. But cooked well. ​The fish here is consistently fresh and flavorful. While the initial portion of chips looks small, they are unlimited, so you can always ask for more. The chips themselves can be a bit hit or miss, as they are quite thin and a lot are over-fried and crispy rather than full of potato. The presentation is very simple, but overall it's a reliable spot for tasty food. I recommend booking in advance.
