If you're from Akron, then you know that the Diamond Grille is a landmark for their decades of serving amazing food. Nine decades, exactly, as they celebrated their 90th anniversary, recently. W KNEW we wanted to be there for pork chop week, so we made reservations for ans it was everything we hoped it would be 🤤 All the courses were included with the menu - she started with the shrimp cocktail, while I went with the stuffed banana peppers. The Diamond Grille has been around for over 90 years. To be able to say that as a restaurant is a HUGE deal itself. Growing up in Akron it was always revered for great steaks, phenomenal service and a pleasant atmosphere. Great for dates or groups. Reservations are a MUST. They are also CASH ONLY. Pictured with my review is the bone in ribeye and also the filet. Both perfectly cooked and aged nicely. Everything that is on the menu is quality so you can't go wrong with anything you order.

The service was absolutely wonderful. So were the drinks and dessert. Brussel sprouts were great too. My steak on the other hand, not so great. Ordered a medium fillet. When it came to the table it was so rare it was still mooing. Sent it back and again it came back less than medium rare. I was very reluctant to do so, but decided to send it back again. Finally, it came back medium, but by this time it got really dry. Even though I sent my steak back twice, the manager never stopped by my table to check on things. After all this, when the check came and I pulled out the credit card, I was told

The food and service was great. Our waitress was so nice. I had the balcked Halibut and it was cooked perfectly. The other people with me had the terderloin sandwich and the one of the steak, I can remember which one. They were all great.
