First time trying this local gem, won't be the last! Clean and basic place, mostly for carryout, but a table and a few counter seats also available. Really GREAT food. LOVE the steamed rice. Been a long time since I've had this kind of "traditional Chinese-American" food. Best treat? Egg rolls in 3 kinds: pork, shrimp, or vegetable!

I've been going to Chen's for many years. They've always had subpar (sometimes rude) customer service, but the reasonable prices and decent food kept me coming back. However, today I placed an order online that was just over the $25 limit to receive a free item. They called me shortly after and asked if I would like to change my order because they ran out of something. No big deal, it happens. When I went to pick up my food I was told that they did NOT include my free item because the price dropped below $25 after my substitution for what they didn't have. I was obviously frustrated and

The cheese ragoons were THE BEST I’ve ever had! The Kung Pow chicken was ok, not that spicy and kinda bland I think their other chicken would’ve been better. The people were so sweet there and the lady even advised me that their fridge was broken holding the sodas but she had some on ice and let me choose. She was very sweet!
