This is the WORSE restaurant in the state of MD. Never go here . Pricey and quality of food is highly QUESTIONABLE. Not only did I not get what I order ed but the food was of poor quality .

I Can Agree with All of the Negative Reviews!!!! They are 100% Accurate!!! We ordered Extra Spicy Shrimp LoMein and Curry Shrimp. They both were Disgusting!!!!! I am 54 years old. I've been eating Mainland since I was a LITTLE GIRL because my parents went there. The older lady that lived across the street and use to be upfront could be a bit Abrasine at times, but the food was Good!!!! Mainland must have Service Workers that are Completely New Employees at Mainland from the front windows back to the cooks!!!!! Since the Occasionally Abrasive lady left, Mainland has gone DOWN!!!!! My how things change. I ordered two (2) dishes that contained shrimp. In both dishes, the shrimp were mushy, like the consistency of mashed potatoes. Against my better judgement, I called and advised the quality of the dishes. The woman was apologetic and offered the opportunity to remake the order. I went in and the woman at the counter, the same that took my order the previous day, was aware of the situation and asked if I wanted another selection (Demeanor was not cordial). I have been going to mainland for over 18yrs. Yes the lady at the front desk was abrasive. She is no longer there they just say she broke her leg... but they are under new management... The food has changed people. Why? Because it had gone under new ownership, with the name being brought. They also have a new cook. The prices have doubled and have been wisely thought out, so that you might as well purchase the specials and the more costly dishes there.
