Spencer K Bailey★★★★★Thoroughly impressed with Fat Fish. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and plated with real care — each dish arriving as a visual standout. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, but that’s the curse of a popular spot on a busy evening. Once we sat down, everything moved quickly and smoothly. We ordered a good variety: several rolls, noodles, and sides — but the standouts were definitely the fried rice and the Mars roll. The flavors were clean and rich without being overworked, and the portions were satisfying without feeling heavy. The interior design carries a warm, modern Asian flair
William Soto★★★I recently had dinner at Fat Fish Bountiful with a coworker. The atmosphere was nice—very chill and laid-back. It did take about 10 minutes before we were greeted by a server, which felt a bit long, but she was super friendly and apologetic, so no hard feelings there. We had already picked out our food by then. I ordered the Spider Roll and the Ceviche Plate (from the Secret Menu), while my coworker went with the White Rabbit, Maui Wowie, and Low Rider rolls. My coworker's picks: Low Rider: Hands down, my favorite of the night—even though I didn’t order it. The flavor was well-balanced with
Joe C★We used to come to Fat Fish pretty regularly, and while I understand prices have gone up everywhere, last night was the first time we actually looked closely at the bill and honestly left shocked. The upcharges are getting ridiculous. Want fried rice instead of white rice? Another $5. Not “for a small upcharge” or “premium side available” — just quietly added on. Same with drinks. We found out the hard way there are apparently no free refills. A Diet Coke and a Shirley Temple both got charged again for refills, and nobody mentioned it beforehand. Then we noticed they charged $1.50 for a sing
Jake Riley★★★★★My server Anthony was very polite, helpful and attentive -- he helped me select a delicious roll. The atmosphere is warm and clean (a little dark, but I like that). I ordered the Kalamari (which comes with fried jalapenos and onion, but they served it "no onions" for me). Ordered a roll from the Secret Menu. It was delicious; perfect spiciness, lightened by citrus and cilantro. Don't skip dessert! Their triple chocolate was amazing. It's big enough to share, but small enough to eat alone. They serve Sapporo, which is also a plus.
