Laura Milliken★★★★Great way to start the day! Stopped in at Rischart for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. The oat bowl was fresh and beautifully presented with banana, grapes and citrus – simple but really satisfying. The pretzel sandwich was soft and generously filled with ham, lettuce and mustard, full of flavour and very fresh. The tea was served properly with fresh mint and lemon on the side, which was a nice touch. Relaxed atmosphere and a lovely spot for a casual morning bite. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that service felt a little busy at times, but overall a great experience and I’d hap
Paul Hester★★★★★A fantastic biergarten just off the main square. You can sit above the victual market and watch the action. Lots of shade under the umbrellas and it seems to get a good breeze on a hot day. The kaiserschmarn was fantastic and fluffy, the best I've had outside of Austria. Good lite fare for a hot day like it was today.
Michelle Quinn★The atmosphere is the only thing this place has going for it. The food was inedible and the service was a 0/10. We got sausage and pretzels, and the pretzels were so overcooked and dry like no pretzel I’ve ever had before. When I asked about it, I was told they’re all like that. The sausage came out later and served in a bowl of room temperature water. They were barely warm and flavorless. We each took one bite (I spit mine out) then couldn’t stomach anymore. The curry vegetable bowl was edible but I wouldn’t by any means say it was good. We were served carbonated water after ordering still wa
Masaki Kawakami★★★★Had coffee and a parfait at Rischart Café am Markt after lunch, and it was the perfect way to slow down the afternoon. The coffee was aromatic and well-balanced, and the parfait was layered with fresh fruit and cream — light but satisfying. The café had a warm, lively vibe, with locals and tourists enjoying the view of Marienplatz. The staff were friendly and quick, even though the place was busy. It’s one of those cafés where you can enjoy both good coffee and the atmosphere of Munich’s heart. Highly recommend for an afternoon break.
