Went to The Globe with my partner for a special evening, and it lived up to every expectation. The multi course menu was well paced, each dish arrived at the right moment, with enough time between courses to actually enjoy the conversation. The food was genuinely good. But the setting is what you'll remember. Seated inside the golden sphere crowning Al Faisaliah Tower, you have an unobstructed view of Riyadh in every direction. The restaurant was full that night, yet the atmosphere stayed calm and intimate, easy to forget there was anyone else in the room. We'll be back.

I would say this place offers one of the best views of Riyadh - especially you can see the city under daylight to sunset. It would take a few lift rides for you to go up onto the Globe and because it's high up almost on top of the building (with direct sunlight) - it can get a bit hot at times. Now it's Saudi Arabian winter so it's marginally bearable, yet I could imagine how hot it could get when it's summer. Food is overall nice - it's quite "innovative" to me that they also offer a buffet section for the afternoon tea (with sushi and savoury stuff). There was also live music when I went - violin performance by a very elegant player. Among all, I think I love the alcohol-free strawberry / berry drink the most!

It’s nice but the menu is on the basic side. The view is what you are paying for. They also forgot to bring out food (we waited over an hour and had to remind the staff). Don’t miss the sea bass! Their hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine warmth were exceptional and made us feel incredibly well looked after. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Riyadh. We’ve already decided we’d love to make The Globe our anniversary tradition every year.
