Akira Back ... We visited this place for a Japanese dinner, and the standout dish was definitely the pizza—it was excellent in both flavor and texture. The dishes complemented each other nicely, making the overall meal feel well-balanced. The maki rolls were also very good, and some items were so enjoyable that we ordered them twice. Akira Back at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is one of my absolute favorite spots in Bangkok. We’ve been coming here since the first week it opened and it has become my go-to for everything. I’ve hosted many dinners here, including my birthday party last year, and the food is always incredible. I was a huge fan of Yellowtail at the Bellagio when I lived in Las Vegas, so I was thrilled to hear Chef Akira was opening a restaurant in Bangkok. The space is beautiful with comfortable seating whether you are a couple or a small group. There are also a few seats at the counter and some amazing private rooms, including one that can hold 24 people. The views in that room are the best! The food is awesome. The tuna pizza is a must have and the AB tacos are to die for. They are my daughter’s absolute favorite. The wagyu short ribs and jidori chicken are both hits, and the sushi menu is excellent and very fresh. I especially like their signature rolls. I don’t eat brussel sprouts but several

Great service and a very tempting menu. We tried the Truffle Bomb, Wagyu Short Rib, Tobata Tiger Prawn, and Crab Fried Rice, plus the Yuzu Blossom cocktail (sake + vodka). Everything was delicious—especially the crab fried rice, fragrant and perfectly cooked. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back!
