They serve fish and chips plus sausages, mushy peas, kebabs, burgers, chicken, pies, wraps and sides. We ordered battered and plain sausages, chips, mushy peas, and fish and chips. The food was very tasty, fresh, hot, served very quickly, and portions were generous. Very friendly and helpful staff, they helped us with our order. Prices are clearly displayed and felt fair for what you get. The shop was clean and well maintained, mainly takeaway focused, with a small bench by the window that is more suited to waiting after ordering than eating in. Edit : Please note: pictures shown are from before change of ownership/management. Have eaten from here recently and it all seems to have changed. Prices have risen - again !.....and quality seems to have dropped. The fish we had was horrible - it smelt old & was flat, not big juicy flakes we're used to, and the batter was thin & soggy. My lady left hers - and so did next doors cat 😺 ! Prices are now eye watering - £1.80 for a small pot of mushy peas, you've got to be kidding (they have always been lurid green since we 1st came here 10 years ago, see pic), £9.50 for a small fish deal. Having been a customer here for years and years and get the exact same order. I was so annoyed to getting home and opening this tiny portion what was meant to be a large chips ? The box was so light as soon as I picked it up I knew something was wrong. Barely filled me up. They always use to ram it with chips. Absolutely appalled by this portion size.
