We ate at North Star a year ago and had the best meal of our trip to the UK. So when we were in Cambridge again a year later, we had to look it up and try again. I was a bit nervous since sometimes things change at restaurants and food quality and experience can go down. But we are happy to report that it has not. They continue to have excellent food and service. The food was great! I had mussels for starter (pictured) and the seafood linguine for main. My mum has the scallops which were amazing (pictured). The service was excellent with very friendly staff and accommodating to us bringing our dog. They even brought me a surprise for my birthday!

We’ve been to the northstar twice now, and wow what a little find. We’ve recently celebrated our anniversary here. They treat you so special and they put our desserts on the house! The steaks are to die for, drinks are made so well and the desserts are 🤤 definitely be coming back here for many years to come! It is a bit pricey, but I always say you get what you pay for.

Dined here on a few occasions - the first meal was brilliant, excellent quality fish and steak, perfectly cooked vegetables and potatoes, generous portions. The staff are friendly and accommodating of special requests. Compared to many historical buildings in Cambridge, the air does not feel stuffy and the courtyard has an unparalleled view of the Fitzwilliam museum.
