Great Venue for a Family Gathering. We booked a private area at The Holyhead for a family party for 40 people to celebrate a Wedding Anniversary and everybody had a fantastic time. From our initial enquiry through to the end of the party, Manager, Rob was personally on hand to help with the room layout, food choices and to make our guests feel welcome. We chose the Signature Buffet which had a large variety of dishes. The Beef Burger Sliders, Sausage Rolls and Mushrooms were in particular exceptionally good. Went to Holyhead for the first time yesterday, the food was horrible, I had the garlic focaccia for starter and it was partially burnt and the bread was so thin it was almost like eating a garlic cracker, for main course I had beef roast, when the lady was taking my order she didn’t ask how I would like it cooked as she didn’t give me a chance to say as she just started talking to other people. Myself and a few friends/Family come here for the quiz every Sunday hosted by Dale Collins. We love Dale Collins quizzes and have been to other locations for his quizzes too! The Holyhead is our regular every-week spot! Staff are really friendly here and you get to know the other quiz-goers too! Definitely would recommend the Holyhead and the Sunday quizzes in particular!
