The Gardeners is a lovely local pub with a great atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. The front garden is a real highlight, especially on a sunny day, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink outdoors. A relaxed spot with a great vibe that I’d happily return to.

What a letdown! My friend suggested this pub and wanted to book a table for Christmas. Instead, we ended up eating at home and decided to visit on Boxing Day. Everyone in the pub looked happy, and the vibe was very laid-back. The staff seemed attentive and committed to their work at the bar. I ordered a meal that appeared appetizing, but it was cold, so I asked for a warm one. The staff were very polite and apologetic. When my meal came back, it looked mushy; all they did was take the food off the plate and rearrange it on a new one. Since it seems to be a family-run business, I didn’t want to

There was a very rude woman working there, me and my friend sat down on one of their benches to relax for abit after a exhausting walk, and she charged at us with a very rude manner and told us to go away like we are some animals??? Im sure the food is nice but i wish the people were abit nicer (aka the woman on the photo)

A wonderful, welcoming and very friendly pub. John and Lynn have turned this pub into the destination for both the local community and for visitors to the area. I am a regular customer, and I love going to the weekly Pub Quiz (every Tuesday, from 19h30), hosted by Simone. Great fun, and always a one-off question list (no standardized event doing a pub circuit !). Great atmosphere, great food, drinks and service !!! Frederic Daubechies
