I go to this pub on a regular basis to listen to the fantastic live Irish and Scottish music. The pub itself is massive with two bars, lots of seated areas and cosy private spaces where you can get privacy if you were on a date. The staff are friendly and polite and the alcohol prices are very competitive. There are many tv screens to watch Sport and there is a large area at the front where you can smoke. Terrible experience. I was refused entry without a clear explanation while similar groups were admitted. We’d appreciate clarification on your door policy and whether staff are trained to apply it consistently. The door staff had blond curly hair and and refused to give his name. Unfortunate end to a lovely evening.
