This was our first stop in Edinburgh for dinner. We were lucky enough to get a table, as the place was full. We decided to go with classics - haggis, neeps & tatties and fish&chips. Both dishes were really tasty and, after trying haggis around other places as well, we can say that this was the best we had. Quick and friendly service, lovely atmosphere, decent prices.

We had a really great experience here. As a person who has a severe allergy, The staff here was really great at ensuring that the kitchen staff was aware of my allergy and that nothing was cross contaminated. The food was great! Be sure that you make a reservation as well. We saw them turn away a lot of people due to not having enough seating and already having reservations.

We had dinner here and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. A special shout-out goes to Edmund, a fantastic Italian guy who was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. ​Since I have several food intolerances, dining out can often be stressful, but Edmund guided and helped me through the menu with immense care and attention, making me feel completely safe and looked after. To top it all off, he recommended an excellent beer that paired perfectly with our meal. ​10/10 service, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

really good veggie roast on sunday with haggis made of vegetables. nice beer, live music and atmosphere. the desserts were really tasty too. 100% recommended, but it will fo a reservation next time to avoid waiting
