Lovely warm pub in the heart of the west end, full of characters and friendly staff. Place has been open for many many years, as my father used to frequent the place when he was in his uni days. Pints are well priced still hovering around the £4 mark, and they are the only pub I know that server tartan special on tap! Great for sport with tellies in every corner of the pub, so makes for an ideal spot to have a quiet pint with mates. Becoming a regular spot for me, and will be back for another lovely Guinness :) (Photo unrelated just wanted to brag that I split a G perfectly)

If you enjoy a guinness this is one of only two bars west end that serve good pint . It's not full of numpty you get wide range of folk in . Can be busy and lack of seats I tend to move on but it definetly has charm.

Good selection, decent prices and a nice spot in an otherwise gentrified, soul sucking part of the city. In an area of posturing, pretentions Hyland 350k flat owners (not bitter), it is a breath of fresh air. And the pints are decent.
