When an Irishman tells you The Ben Nevis is the best pub in Glasgow for Guinness, you listen – especially when that Irishman is Glasgow chef Peter McKenna of Eleven Fifty Five. Being known for its Guiness means The Ben Nevis sells a lot of it, so it’s always fresh and they know how to pull it too (long and slow). The Ben Nevis is a cool relaxing haven amidst the bustle of Argyll Street, and of course they have a great range of whiskies and other beers too along with live traditional Scottish and Irish music weekly.
