Stopped into The Regal Wetherspoons in Gloucester before the RAF v Army rugby match and had a great afternoon there. The Guinness was spot on — cold, fresh, and poured properly. Really good atmosphere for a bit of day drinking before the match, with plenty of people around but still easy enough to get served fairly quickly. The pub itself is spacious, clean, and has a nice lively buzz without feeling overcrowded. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the prices were hard to complain about. Perfect place to start the day before heading to the rugby.

dj on a weekend is rubbish i don’t know who she is but she’s so bad all she does is press play and that’s it for the night doesn’t take any requests she’s horrible , no one gets on the dance floor because she plays terrible tunes rather than waht the people want . good music and people creates a good atmosphere that makes more people want to come and business will improve to be on par with moon under which is the main competitor to make glos better , and this dj just hits play every week doesn’t engage with us hardcore glos people and just annoys us how she ignores suggestions and just leaves

Came for breakfast this morning. Just standard Wetherspoons fare when it comes to food and drink. However the reason for the review is the colleagues attention to detail in cleaning this establishment. I’ve never seen so much effort going into getting somewhere ready for business inside and outside, even to removing gum off the outside areas on their hands and knees - top job!
