Beautiful location, just beside the river with large garden. Inside it has a really older wolde charm. Sadly just like all the other reviews the service, although it came with a smile is INCREDIBLY slow ! Be prepared to wait at the bar to be served for at least 15 minutes and waiting time for food was a minimum of 45 minutes when we visited on Saturday afternoon. The owner should really look at this and perhaps put extra people on duty, because not only was the service slow due to lack of staff it them impacted the tables not being cleared when people left and they we just stacked with plates

Excellent food (actually visited twice during our rent holiday to the area) and great location - we were offered a seat by the window and had a chance to look at the swans, ducks and boats go by. One of the young girls was superb and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Others could learn from her. Good parking and its nice to go for a stoll afterward. Will be back.

Fish and eels has been around for ages well known in nazing / broxbourn extremely well know for the food and right by the river and weir.. in the summers great does get quote busy but isnt that a goo thing just make sure you get in early to secure your seat at the outdoor table views are great food is great come here regular even if its after a stroll or a bite to eat well recommend

Beautiful pub and surroundings spoilt by being woefully under staffed with unpleasant shock when paying the bill. It seems that VAT was added to the bill on top of an already overpriced menu. We paid over £75 for a meagre 2 course meal for 2 which took a total of 2 hours to complete! That's certainly not impressive at all. Sadly we will find better alternatives in future. A great disappointment for such a beautiful location.
