Penarth Pier is a stunning place to visit and has always been very well maintained. I have been coming here since I was a lad and it remains one of my favourite spots. The views across the Bristol Channel are beautiful, especially looking out towards Flat Holm and Steep Holm. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We have loved the pier for a long time, coming here for walks, coffee, events and the cinema. But it now holds an even dearer place in our hearts as we had our wedding ceremony here. Everything ran really smoothly and the staff were so lovely, even giving us a card to congratulate us. The space is stunning and so many of our guests commented on what an unexpected gem it is.

Great Historical pier it's not overrun with tacky shops and arcade machines and it's free however the main reason I went is because it was the filming location for the music video for high contrast's 2004 drum and bass classic racing green Also watch out for a child on a tricycle 😂
