The most lovely, fun, inviting pub. We do the weekly quiz on a Tuesday evening at 8pm and have always had a blast. Rhavana is one of the core members of staff who welcomes us with a smile and warmth every time we walk in. I have also booked out a larger space for a festive gathering with friends and the pub was more than accommodating. They have two excellent outdoor sections so great for summer but they have heaters and cover too. The food is delicious as well. Would really recommend this pub. We love you JGs!!

Nice pub located a short walk from Putney centre. Smart modern interior. Beer garden at the front, small enclosed terrace at the rear. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Service was good.Food available but I didn't stay to eat.

The Jolly Gardeners on Lacy Road in Putney is a fantastic bijou pub on the south side of the river. An oasis of beer on a dry street. Staff are super, quick jovial service with a bit of banter. There is a very secret patio to the rear with 3 tables to choose from. Love it. There is also a large covered area at the front of the pub. Inside is light and airy with polished floors, bare bricks walls and a deep green coat of paint in places. A super, super place. This is a good pub ( very nice place to relax and drink) but we had a disappointing experience with the food. Table of 7 dishes all arrive at haphazard times and we needed to chase up the service. Food quality was middling at best. Kept too long under hot plate (crust forms on the mushy peas....) and odd distribution of food on the plate - sprinkled chips anyone? We were uninclined to stay for desert. Fine place for drinks though.
