While waiting for the food Sin gave us a ten minute history of the building and the surrounding area. Food was good. We tried a pulled pork plate and chicken plate. Meats were drizzled with the White Tiger vinegar based barbecue sauce. Ken, long time owner and local Athens resident, can often be found working the counter regularly with a smile. Menu options have something for everyone (including vegan and gluten free) from snacks to platters and portions are hearty. White Tiger is a restaurant that captures quality, value, and uniqueness in a way that most places seek to, but just can’t get right.
