For those that like ambiance, history, food and music mixed into a single experience try the White Tiger. “Sin” was our server/historian and added more to the experience than any menu item. While waiting for the food Sin gave us a ten minute history of the building and the surrounding area. Food was good. We tried a pulled pork plate and chicken plate. Meats were drizzled with the White Tiger vinegar based barbecue sauce. As of 4/12/26 White Tiger is a 19 year veteran establishment in West Athens friendly to all who enjoy good music, good food and good times. Ken, long time owner and local Athens resident, can often be found working the counter regularly with a smile. Menu options have something for everyone (including vegan and gluten free) from snacks to platters and portions are hearty. White Tiger is a restaurant that captures quality, value, and uniqueness in a way that most places seek to, but just can’t get right.

Delicious vegan salad. The tofu was well seasoned, and the vegetables were sautéed and delicious. The service was good. They were out of chips and kindly substituted more delicious vegetables. The seating is cafe style with a cute, funky vibe.
