Love this place! It’s been around for years and the BBQ is just always so good it’s one of the good ones in Atlanta. Also, met the owner today super friendly guy! I actually appreciated him walking me around the restaurant telling me about his family photos on the wall. This is definitely a can’t go wrong if you’re craving BBQ and make sure to try the banana pudding if you like it! So good they put moon pie pieces in it.

Finally tried Pig N Chik after passing by for many years when I heard about their unlimited wings special on Mondays (all you can eat for $20). I love brisket, so I started with that and it was subpar. It was very dry (wasn’t asked if I wanted lean or fatty) and the collards needed salt. The Texas toast served with it was cold and not even buttered or toasted, just a plain piece of sandwich toast. The wings were great though and I would definitely come back for those. The restaurant itself is a bit of a dive bar feel. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the ice for drinks you scoop yourself

I worked today so no cookout food for me but I still wanted some good home cooked side dishes and decided to stop by. We ordered the green beans, potato salad and the BBQ beef brisket. We also decided to get some collards and mac/cheese. How have I gone this long and not stopped by and tried Pig N Chik BBQ? Awesomely, friendly service and really good food! Thanks!

I have been going to Pig-N-Chik BBQ for years, the chicken is always fresh, and comes out pretty quickly. They recently started using beef tallow in all of their fried foods and i have noticed a difference in the taste, the chicken always tastes good but it tastes even better now with the beef tallow!
